Dropkick Murphys  are an American Celtic punk band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, in 1996. The band was signed to Hellcat Records in 1997 and released their debut album Do or Die in 1998. Since then, the band has released eight studio albums, three live albums, two compilations, sixteen singles, and nine music videos.

The Dropkick Murphys have been described as “one of the best live bands in the world” by Rolling Stone magazine. The band is known for its energetic live shows and has toured extensively worldwide.
